Pain is unavoidable,

but misery is optional.

Sharon Anderson, CWM, has impacted hundreds of lives through her speaking, counseling, and role as a pastor in a local church. She has been serving the community for over 20 years. Sharon’s approach combines wisdom, life experiences, and counseling expertise with her ability to connect with people, encourage them, challenge them, and promote lasting change. Her wisdom comes from a lifetime of overcoming life’s challenges, embracing unexpected heartbreak, and relishing the sweet moments. Through perseverance, endurance and courage, she has learned that “joy and sorrow live in the same house.”  The hard fought lessons she has learned about trusting God on the journey is shared with a deep sense of compassion, candor and inspiration.

Sharon is the Executive Pastor of South Shore Community Church in Brockton and Bridgewater, MA, where she holds an executive leadership position and serves as a coach and mentor to staff and volunteers. She has been speaking at women’s retreats, marriage retreats, conferences and events through her Bridges of Hope ministry since the early 90s. In 2012, she was Licensed & Consecrated as a Women’s Worker through the Christian Missionary Alliance.

She is the author of Reminders for the Journey:  Reflections for Mothers.  It is based on the lessons she has learned from raising her own six children.
